Purchases and payments
When you purchase a digital product, WooCommerce processes your order and records information such as your name, email address, billing details, products purchased, payment status and download access.
Payments are securely processed by Stripe. English by Kate does not receive or store your complete card number or security code. Stripe may collect and process payment, identity, fraud-prevention and transaction information in accordance with its own privacy policy.
We use order information to process payments, deliver purchased products, provide customer support, prevent fraud, manage refunds and comply with our legal and financial obligations.
Lessons, consultations and online services
When you book a lesson or consultation, your information may be processed through services such as Calendly, Google Calendar and Zoom. These providers may process your name, email address, appointment information and technical data necessary to provide the service.
Email communications
If you subscribe to a free resource, toolkit or mailing list, we may use your name and email address to send the requested resource and relevant educational or promotional emails.
Our email communications may be managed through Kit or another email service provider. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in each email. We may still send essential transactional messages concerning purchases or bookings.
Contact forms and correspondence
When you contact us, we collect the information you provide so we can respond to your enquiry, provide support and maintain appropriate business records.
Comments and reviews
If you leave a comment or review, we may collect the information entered in the form, along with your IP address and browser information for moderation, security and spam detection.
