Hello, I’m Kate.

Before becoming an OET teacher, I spent 40 years working as a registered nurse, including 34 years in intensive care.

Throughout my nursing career I worked alongside healthcare professionals from many different backgrounds. I understand the language, the pace and the communication skills required in clinical practice, and I also understand how challenging it can be to work in English while preparing for an important exam.

Today I combine that healthcare experience with my specialist knowledge of OET to help doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals achieve the scores they need.

My teaching is practical, supportive and highly structured. Rather than simply completing practice tests, we identify exactly what’s holding you back, build the skills you need and create a clear plan to help you reach your target score.
