Let’s learn how to make present simple sentences. Present simple is a tense that is used often in English. Here is how you make the present simple tense. (form)
We’ll start with the verb be. Be is different to other verbs in English. It changes according to the subject and the tense.
The tables below show the form of the the verb ‘be’: They change with the changing subject of the sentence. This is called conjugation.
The affirmative form is on the left. The negative form is in the middle and the questions form is on the far right.
